This South Buffalo house located right by Trocaire College and Mercy Hospital is filled with two generations of fine collectibles and antiques. The three floors are FULL! This is sixty years of collecting by people who knew and loved antiques. Period furniture pieces include Victorian, Mission, English and American pieces, desks, tables, many chairs, bookcases, beds, chests, trunks, cupboards, stands and more. Thousands of pieces of quality glass (many signed), china, pottery and porcelain including Stueben, Waterford, Phoenix, Charlotte Rhead, Fostoria, Veneitian, Kemple, Roseville, Metlox, American Art pottery, Staffordshire, Bavaria, Limoge, Lennox, Chintz and many, many more. A vast library of leather bound books and hundreds of quality antique research books and price guides, children's books, maps, postcards, local advertising, posters and poster art, vintage magazines and many early risque materials (which have been set aside so please inquire), and an entire library filled with collectible ephemera. The basement is just LOADED with hundreds of items on shelves, and great treasures are everywhere. This sale has taken us weeks to stage and every box we unpacked was a delight. Parking is available as there are many lots close by and we will have extra staff to assist you with loading your cars and helping you if you are parked a distance away.
